Our New Hobby Together as Husband and Wife

After we got married Robert and I found our nitch that we both enjoy doing and that is trying to beat eachother in the Remote Control Racing. It is very fun. I had no idea it would be as much fun as it is. Robert races in 2 classes: Gas Truck and Monster truck. This is his gas truck to the left.

My Grandad's House

For those of you who don't know here are some pictures of my Grandad's house. He accidently put a stire foam plate in a toaster oven and his house went up in flames. By God watching over him he is ok. My dad and Aunt Kim placed into a Retirement Home for now. His house will take 2-4 months before they will revaluate him. These pictures are heartbreaking:

Theological Studies

I absolutely love diving into the work of God. I believe everyone need to know the story of Jesus Christ. I have been doing a study.

GOD There is one God existing eternally in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 13:14). He is the Creator of all things (Genesis 1:1). He is everywhere present (Jeremiah 23:23-34); He is just (Genesis 18:25); loving (I John 4:8, 16); and full of grace (Ephesians 2:4-5). We have a relationship with Him only through Jesus Christ (John 14:6).

JESUS Jesus Christ is fully human and fully divine (Philippians 2:5-8) existing eternally, fully equal with the Father (John 1:1,2). With the help of the Holy Spirit, He was born of a virgin, Mary (Isaiah 7:14; Luke 1:34-35). He has proven Himself to be the Son of God by His deeds, fulfillment of prophecy, crucifixion and bodily resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:1-4).

HOLY SPIRIT The Holy Spirit is a divine person existing eternally with the Father (John 15:25). He convicts of sin, righteousness and the judgment to come (John 16:8-11). Every believer is equipped with a gift or gifts by the Holy Spirit for ministry (Romans 12:3-8; 1 Corinthians 12; Ephesians 4:7-16)

THE BIBLEThe Old and New Testament Scriptures are inspired by God (2 Timothy 3:16-17) and without error in their original manuscripts (Matthew 1:18). They contain a complete revelation of His will for salvation of man and constitute the divine and only rule of faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

HUMANITY God created human beings in His image for the purpose of living in an intimate relationship with Him. Through our sin, though, we are separated from an intimate relationship with God. (Acts 17:24-28, Isaiah 59:1-2)

SALVATION God sent His son, Jesus Christ, to offer his righteous life as payment for our sin. Salvation is a free gift of God received through faith and expressed through confession, repentance, and baptism by immersion (1 Corinthians 15:1-8, Romans 1:16-17; 6:23, Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 10:9, John 3:16, Acts 2:38). Those who are trusting Jesus in this way can have assurance of Salvation (1 John 5:13).

TRANSFORMATION God not only wants to save us, He wants to transform us into the image of His Son. Transformation is initiated by salvation, sustained by God's grace, and gathers momentum as our will is brought in ever-increasing alignment with God's will. (Philippians 2:12, Romans 12:1-2)

THE CHRISTIAN LIFE The Christian Life by its very nature is to be distinct from the world (Ephesians 4:22-24). Because of this, each believer is set apart (sanctified) by God for His purposes (Romans 6:22). The process of sanctification is carried out through prayer, the Word, witnessing, and fellowship (Acts 2:42; Colossians 3:16; Acts 1:8). Each believer has been given a spiritual gift or gifts (1 Corinthians 12:4-6; Ephesians 4:7-8) to be used in serving others (1 Corinthians 12:7).

THE CHURCH The church is the body of Christ on earth, empowered by the Holy Spirit, to reach those separated from God and mature those who have been restored to God through Christ. (Ephesians 4:1-16) We believe that Christ is the Head of His Church, and therefore, in a cosmic sense, every Christian is a part of His church. However, we also believe God expects believers to be committed to a local body of believers because He knew we would only achieve our potential as disciples with the help of others (Hebrews 10:23-35). Paul goes to the baptism of John. Shared the good news of Jesus Christ(Acts 19:1-8)

THE LORD'S SUPPER (Communion)The Lord's Supper was instituted by the Lord and delivered to the Apostles (Matthew 26:26-29) and is to be observed by believers in remembrance of Him as often as we come together (1 Corinthians 11:24-25). Give Praise to God for everything he has done for you. I promise he will listen to whatever you have to say.

ETERNITY Christ will one day return, final judgment will be rendered, the image of God will be completely restored within us, and we will reign with Christ forever. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, 1 John 3:2). The coming of Christ for His Church can occur at any time. Scripture teaches that Jesus will descend from Heaven (Acts 1:11); that all Christians, dead and alive, will be raised to eternal life (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18); and all non-believers will be judged or condemned to eternal punishment and separated from God for eternity (Matthew 25:31-45; Revelation 20; 2 Corinthians 5:10).

REVELATION I am the Alpha and the Omega "Greeting to the seven churches: Grace to you and peace from him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven spirits who are before his throne, and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the first born of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of earth".

Racing Days of Summer

Since Robert and I got married we got really involved in Remote Control Racing. When we first started I thought this was only a guy sport. Heck no...There are many women who race as well. We went from having 6 cars down to 3. Oh course Robert has to have 2 cars. Can't imagine why. I have one. A very quiet Electric. These cars can be very loud. Roberts cars run off of Nitro Gas. Smells really bad by the way. Mine runs off batteries. Robert and I went out to the track on Saturday and Robert had a blast. I got mine out on the track and I didn't make a full lap until I broke an A arm. I tried to fix it with the lack of skills I have but I couldn't quite figure it out. Here are some pictures of our toys.
Roberts 2 cars are the blue and white and orange and yellow bigger truck. Mine is the small yellow are with the black nose. Robert painted all the cars with spray paint. Looks awesome huh???

Hello Everyone!!!

I know I have no posted anything hardly since we got married. We are doing great. Work keeps both of us on our toes. Every chance we get we are spending time together. Even though we do live in the same house we rarely have a weekend off to enjoy just the two-of-us. Our dogs Mia and Dax are doing great. They both are "Little Rascals". They keep us going. A couple of weeks ago Robert and I bought us a new aquarium. It is a monster in our living room. We have African Cichlids. For those of you who do not know what African Cichlids are I will post a couple of picrures so don't worry. I won't leave you wandering what they are. Our aquariums are so relaxing, soothing to have on a day where all you want to do is lay around. They splash and they will chase each other. Quite comical. Robert and I hope everyone is doing great and I will try to do better at posting more. Have a Blessed week:)
