ABOUT US
Robert and I have been together for almost 6 years. We were highschool sweethearts at Amarillo High School back in 2003 and 2004. Our relationship has not been perfect.We've had some up and downs in our relationship with several deaths on both sides of our families, and then in 2006 I had to have a brain surgery following my parents getting a divorce. Our relationship took many turns. I was very scared about the surgery I had to have but we both turned to God and realized we needed his help. As our faith grew with God our relationship is something we both cherished greatly and it is something we both do not want to lose.
Well, I guess it is time for a 2008 update. Robert and I have been blessed more than we could ever know. Robert and I are finally out of school.Robert graduated in 2006 and has a great job with Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Home. Yes, he is a funeral director and he absolutely loves it. I graduated May 2008 and I am working on getting a Children's Ministry job as a Children's Minister. For those of you who don't know as of February 14th 2008, Robert got down on one knee and proposed to me. Of couse I said "yes" with some hesistation. I did not know what to say. I was just in total shock. Our big day will be March 7,2009 at Amarillo South Church. We are super excited about having a future together but also we are more excited about seeing what God has in store for both of us. We know MARRIAGE isn't easy but we are willing to work together with God to make our marriage last a lifetime.
