Our New Home

Robert and I are proud to say we have "Our New House" just like we want it. We are both are tired of moving and We are both are glad all the moving is done and over with(Except for the refrigator). We actually feel at home now and we are going to live here for while. I mean for while. I have probably have said this a million times but I am so excited to spend the rest of my life with Robert. Even though he can bug the heck out of me I love him with all my heart. My bedroom is looking bare at my moms house because everything is over at our New house.

Christmas this year was good. We moved Christmas Eve til 4:00pm. Then went to Church at 6:00pm, then had Christmas with my Fathers at 8:45pm. Needless to say it was a long day. Robert and Blake moved more stuff that night and I threw in the towel and went to bed. I was beat. Christmas Day Robert got up and came over to my mother's house do we could have Christmas with her. Christmas Day afternoon we had it with my Grandparents, the Christmas Night we had Christmas with Robert's family, then Robert and I and Brandon,Barbie,Scott and Karen came over to the New House and Brandon and Scott helped Robert with the heavy furniture. Again, it was another long night. Friday Morning I got up around 8:30am and met Robert to move more and more things. Barbie helped us with some of the big things. She was a big help. We got everything into it's own place that night. We stayed up til midnight putting things away but it looks like a home now. I really over did it. My neck was having a bunch of Muscle spasms. Saturday morning I slept in and around 10am I met my good friend Sara to deliever to her,her Bridesmaid dress. It was soooo good to see her. She's such a good friend. Well saturday afternoon we didn't do much moving. We were both really tired and the house was pretty much all ready unpacked. We just spend time with eachother. I love spending time with Robert. We don't really spend much time together since we are both working a bunch of hours. Sunday morning we didn't even go to church. I came over to the house and we both wanted to lay around and cook breakfast together. We never miss church but we both were exhausted. Sunday afternoon we went over to my Grandpa's house to have christmas with my Aunt and Uncle and Cousins. They are from Dallas and we had a great time together. It's soooo good to see them. We don't get to see them that often. We brought them to our house and they loved it. We were proud to show them.....Now, I can't believe it tomorrow I will be 24 years old. Wow, I am getting old...I am just kidding.
Robert and I hoped everyone had a Merry Christmas and Hopes everybody has a Happy New Year!!!!

Moving...Moving...Moving...

Right now Robert is living into a one bedroom apartment and after many many discussions between eachother we both decided that I have alot of stuff and we would be better off living in a two bedroom apartment. We will be still in the same complex however I moved alot of my stuff over there anyway so we have twice as much to move. Yeah, I know we didn't think it out like we should have. We are super excited about the two bedroom. All the kitchen appliances are brand spanking new. We got new tile in the guest bathroon. I know Robert is excited about it as well. I am super excited. I can't wait to have more room for ourselves and our dogs. I know Mia and Dax will love all the extra room.Well, I will post some before pictures and after pictures of it. Preaching the outline of Genesis

'In the beginning God...'

And so begins the Bible. Moses is believed to have written the book of Genesis, the first book in the Bible. Like all the other authors God aided him rather generously in the work.
This study takes us through some of the principles and doctrines established in the book of Genesis. Many of these principles and doctrines are expanded in more depth in other books. Our introduction mentions the main characters.

Main characters
Adam and Eve - Daddy and mummyGenesis 2 5Probably the bestknown characters in the Bible. Satan used the power of suggestion to tempt them into disobeying God. A ploy he still uses today with great success. Keeping our thought life in line with God’s Word should be of paramount importance to every Christian.

Noah - The man who built a boat in the desertGenesis 6 11Jesus used the historical fact of the life of Noah to warn us about the last days (Matthew 24: 36 - 39). You will do yourself a great favour to study closely the life of Noah. God kept this faithful man through the disasters of those days and He will do the same again in our generation.

Abraham - Father of faithGenesis 12 - 25Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are the undisputed three most important characters of the Old Testament. Jesus often mentioned them together (Luke 20:37, Matthew 8:11). They are the fathers of faith and their lives teach us a lot about our faith.
Abraham, who had his name changed from Abram, is the first person to be called a prophet (Genesis 20:7). Abraham’s main merit was his faith and not his strength of character. God called Abraham to leave his native land and go to a place he did not know, and so began his journey of faith. Faith is what we all need to please God (Hebrews 11:6). Genesis 15 and 17 describe the covenant God made with Abraham. Abraham believed God and God counted it as righteousness. Our righteousness is still based on our faith in Jesus and not our works or deeds.
A little known fact about Abraham was his habit of digging wells (Genesis 21:2531). A picture of the river of life that Jesus spoke about (John 4:1314)

Isaac - Obedient unto deathGenesis 25 - 28Abraham’s son’s name was God’s choice. He chose it Himself (Genesis 17:19). Indeed God was directly involved in the names of all these three significant men. God had a hand in Isaac’s destiny. However it was his obedience that brought God’s will for his life to pass. Here was a man ready to submit to death. Obedience has never ceased to be a requirement of Christian service. Where Abraham’s life is used to teach us about faith, Isaac’s is a clear lesson on the importance of obedience.
Isaac sowed in the land and reaped a hundred fold. (Genesis 26: 12) The spiritual principle of reaping what we sow is still with us today.

Jacob - Liar and cheatGenesis 28 - 36The man better known as a liar and cheat eventually found God. God let Jacob run his own life until he became tired of it. Jacob finally decided to seek God. He wrestled with God and got his name changed to Israel (Genesis 32:2428).
Intercession still plays a big role in the Christian life today. Intercession is wrestling in prayer. Intercession is as mysterious as a man wrestling with God and winning.

While Abraham dug wells, Isaac sowed and reaped a hundred fold and Jacob built pillars for God. (Genesis 28:18, Genesis 31:45). Pillars represented worship, sacrifice and remembrance (or witness).
Jacob’s life is a clear example of the role we all have to play in fulfilling God’s will for our life. Indeed we all need to work out our salvation with fear and trembling (Philippians 2: 1213). If God could use a Jacob He can use you.
Abraham, Isaac and Jacob stand unique in God’s plan. Faith, obedience and seeking God earnestly sum up their lives lessons.

Joseph - Gifted yet immatureGenesis 37 - 28Gifted by God and favoured by his father, Joseph’s immaturity soon got him into trouble. Gifts have never been a sign of maturity. We need to be aware of this truth as individuals. After going through an immense period of unjustified hardship for about 13 years, Joseph emerges with a very strong and godly character.

Only heaven knows how many Christians never fulfil their role in life because of their unwillingness to grow out of immaturity. Always wanting your own way, being stubborn or selfcentered are just some of the ways that our immaturity shines through.

Wives and Husbands

"Wives, submit to your own husbands as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body and us himself its Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit in everything to their husbands"

"Husbands love your wives as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word "

"Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh."

Head Coverings

"Now I commend you because you remember me in everything and maintain the traditions even as I delivered them to you. But I want you to understand that the head of every man us Christ, the head of a wife is her husband, and the head of Christ is God" I Corinthians 11:2-3.

His Story

Well, Where do I begin. I am not good at writing things like this but when I saw Michelle around school, I didn't know if I should talk to her or just leave her alone. The first time we saw eachother was when Michelle was talking to her friend in the back of her friends truck. I kept asking her to shoe polish the windows because it was her birthday. Michelle wouldn't hardly talk to me. She didn't shoe polish her friends windows. The next day Michelle had a softball game out of town and when we came home she automatically went into the training room because of her shoulder. I was the trainer for the basketball team so I had to go into the training room to pick up something and I saw Michelle being treated. I went up to her to make sure she was ok. I really liked and cared for her I just didn't know how to act in front of this pretty girl. We talked about what happend and the next day I offered to take her out to lunch. I knew she was in a relationship before and I didn't want to hit it off fast. I knew she needed time. Time. We became insepartable. I went to lots of her softball games. She was a year older but I didn't care. I just really like Michelle. Now she is fixing to be my wife. I can't wait to live my life with her. We started our life together on February 5, 2003 and it continues on..........

Her Story

In my senior year at Amarillo High 2003, My life changed forever. It was a sunny, warm January afternoon I was heading home from school.I saw a friend walk to her truck. I hollered at her to wait a minute so I could see how her day was. Needless to say in the spot next to her truck was a boy sitting in his truck. I didn't pay much attention to him at the time because I was already in a relationship with someone else which I just ended. I was very unhappy, and sad. I didn't want to be in another relationship this quick. He didn't have a clue who I was and I had never seen this boy in my entire life around school. I didn't know if he was my age or a year younger. Well, I was finishing up visting with my friend and this boy(Keep in mind, I didn't know his name) kept talking to me like he knew me.
Later on that night I was heading to Church for our Youth Group and before I could get out the door my phone rang. It was Robert. It didn't click to me who Robert was. I had to make my conservation short because of church. I would have been late. The next day I had a softball game for Varisty in Frenship. I was the catcher and somehow I tore my shoulder during the game. When our bus got home I went into the training room to get checked out. While I was being treated Robert came into the Training Room to get something for a basketball game. I didn't know he was the Trainer. I was talking to him about what happened and he waited until I was done and made sure I was ok before he left. The next day came along and I saw Robert around school. I was so excited that we saw eachother and he asked me to go to Lunch. Of course I said "Yes". After telling myself that I wanted to wait for while before I got into another relationship I wait 2 days before Robert and I became insepartable. Robert and I have wonderful relationship with eachother. I love Robert so much and I can't wait to become his wife. We began our journey on February 5, 2003 and it continues on.........

Started our "Marriage Counseling"

Well, Robert and I have started our "Marriage Counseling" last monday. The minister said we will be the easiest couple to counsel because we both are so laid back. I think God for everything we has shown to Robert and I throughout the years. We are looking forward to the future to see what God has in store for us.
